They don’t go away

 

There will always be those things we feel, but don’t quite get around to talking about. Not because we’re unable to express how we feel about them, but rather because we’re way more certain about their every detail than we should be. So we decide to swallow in the words instead – before they uncontrollably spill out, because sometimes talking about things makes us acknowledge their existence. Sometimes talking about things makes them real, makes them more tangible. So staying silent about them means they never even were, right?

But sometimes, we can’t make the things we don’t talk about go away unless we actually talk about them, and that... well, that totally sucks.
