Journeys over End-Results
“Achievements” so often turn out to have very little to do with how well we do on things, and more with how much we actually put into trying to bring them into life.
Yet we still tend to beat ourselves up every time the tiny details don’t match how things were supposed to happen inside our heads – when we know we’ve already poured our entire beings into getting them to happen in the first place. Hardly grasping that the details of every struggle, and every failing attempt, often prove to be a lot more magical than what we think should’ve ended up happening instead.
So here’s a note to my-very-doubtful-self: stop obsessing this hard over end results, when you’re already blessed with more meaningful journeys to enjoy. And appreciate every new piece of yourself they’ll always help you find.
