One-Time Journal Sessions

Intentional Conversations on Marriage

Relationship building is an integral facet to our wellness, one that's worth investing space and time to contemplate.

Why do we want the things we want? What does marriage mean to us – individually and collectively? What have we learned about the process over the years? We'd love to journal about this with you, and engage in more conversations around the topic!

Join us as we explore more about marriage through journal prompts + the opportunity to share and listen to other insights from the community.

Facilitated by: Basma Zaki & Noha Kareem

This session was primarily designed with singles in mind.
🛑 It's a dedicated space for intentional and organized conversations, not a replacement for professional help or other formal marriage prep programs.

P.S. This will mainly be held in Arabic, but you're always free to choose the language you're comfortable writing in.

Will this be recorded?
No, we prefer to keep our shared online space private and in the moment.

Do I need to turn my video on?
In order to foster deeper presence and connection with other members of the group, it is recommended to keep your video on at least 80% of the session.

Will I have to share my writing pieces/thoughts with others?
You don’t have to if you don’t want to. This is mainly designed to help get your own words/thoughts flowing. There’s a certain power to sharing in a group setting, but if you don’t feel comfortable, you will never be obliged to do so.

"I loved how writing opened a door inside me and helped me connect the dots. I don't usually write this much so I was surprised I wanted to write even more after it ended. I also loved connecting with others in a safe space and that I got to explore the topic from different perspectives."

– Shorouk Hossam

"The safe space you provided and the reassurance that no one has to share. You just made sure that everyone feels safe, seen and heard. The group discussions were great as well; we’re all going through the same ebbs and flows trying to figure out anything in life."

– Nadine Nasef

"Having time-controlled activities that facilitate the extraction of the feelings and thoughts inside us was a wonderful thing. What was also wonderful was listening to the experience of others through which I saw many points of similarity with my experience, as well as seeing the pros and cons more clearly."

– Walid Kessal
