It’s okay

It’s okay. It’s okay to slip back into older versions of yourself sometimes. It’s okay to feel like you’re back to point zero, and that you’ve been convincing yourself you’ve made progress while you’re still exactly where you’ve always been. It’s okay to feel your anxiety rocketing back up on some days. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It only means you’re a human being, experiencing normal human feelings. It only means you’re on your way, regardless of the destination. It only means you’re being granted another chance. To try again. Because more often than not, the lows can help you grow in ways you wouldn’t have otherwise experienced. In ways that the quiet, peaceful days would have never offered. In ways you’ll eventually feel grateful for. I promise, you’ll be grateful for this. One day. For now, it really is okay.
