Genuine Validation
Validation feels so different when it comes from a place of relatability.
When you no longer even need to explain how you feel because you know they’ve been exactly where you are, and they just get it.
They don’t need to exert much effort to understand, or to show that they understand. They don’t need to edit the look on their face so it shows something they know you’d want to see. They just respond from the heart, and it shows. Without them even having to say the words.
God bless those who have the capacity to validate our entire existence by simply being who they are.
