Conversations

Conversations. Conversations that completely take your mind off the rest of world for their entire duration. Conversations that make you forget all about the minor inconveniences of the day, as you dig deeper and tune in to the actual roots of your feelings. Conversations that witness tearing up while looking the other person straight in the eye, without feeling slightly uncomfortable about it. Conversations that flow without you even trying, because every thought so naturally triggers a new story. Conversations that allow you real access into people once they realize it‘s safe to start sharing. Conversations that reveal new pieces of those you thought you already knew, yet realize they carry so much more inside than you would’ve ever imagined. Conversations that get you to discuss your pain and fears so casually like you’re talking about what you just had for breakfast this morning. Conversations that have you wishing you could set the clocks of the world on pause so you never have to leave them. I’m addicted to those. I’m so addicted and so incredibly grateful for the existence of their people.
